April 2009: New Milling Machining Centre
Technoset Ltd acquired a new Milling Machining Centre. The Doosan Mynx NM410 has a table size of 920 × 430, supports 24 tools and has a maximum spindle speed of 8000 rpm.
April 2009: Technoset puts focus on internal failure
Members of the management team attend the ITO University (Hamilton Sunstrand/United Technologies). MAR09 Technoset build on this customer provided training by implementing a Quality Clinic. The aim of the clinic is to provide structure for "real time" problem resolution. The clinic is composed of 6 important elements surrounding its core fundamental: People. These include Physical location, Performance review, Documented process flow, Gauging & Equipment, Visual Management & Flow and finally Metrics. Technoset is already reaping the benefits of having a Quality Clinic which will continue to be developed.
April 2009: 99% at third party AS9100 audit
Technoset score 99% at third party audit a year on from initial accreditation. The BSI auditor stated in his report that: 'The business continues to be very progressive and has adopted a comprehensive set of methodologies designed to improve business performance. Despite the difficulties imposed by the current financial climate, results show these are now taking effect'
